Valor is committed to providing our athletes with the highest level of injury prevention, evaluation and rehabilitiation though our Sports Medicine Team. Valor employs two full-time Certified Athletic Trainers and partners with our volunteers to provide a high level of care. With over 75% of our students participating in athletics, our two training rooms are equipped with modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, hydrotherapy as well as numerous rehabilitation tools. Athletic Trainers Allen Schroeder and Jen Hutto oversee the daily care of our athletes.
Our athletic trainers and team physicians are committed to providing the most comprehensive and safest care possible. To ensure the highest level of care, all athletes are encouraged to speak with the Athletic Training Staff immediately upon concern of a health issue. Training Room hours are from 10:00 am until 30 minutes past the last competition or practice of the day. Lunch treatments occur daily to allow athletes to be integrated at practices.
