Karin Hart, Head Girls Lacrosse Coach
Coach Karin Hart joins the Valor Girls Lacrosse program for her first year in 2011. Coach Hart has a strong background in lacrosse due to her experience playing collegiately at the University of Denver. She looks forward to taking that experience to develop a strong program at Valor. Coach Hart has spent the past 6 years developing her coaching skills at many youth camps and clinics in Colorado, including the DU Summer Lacrosse Camp. When Karin was asked what her biggest accomplishment has been, she stated it was “beating the cancer I was faced with in 2009. As of May 2011, I am proud to be cancer free!” Coach Hart will bring her knowledge of the game and understanding of the struggles of life to help develop not only a strong lacrosse program but also strong young women.

Girls Lacrosse Finishes Season With a Win

May 09, 2012

Last Monday, the Lady Eagles faced their last game of the season at home against the Pueblo West Cyclones. The majority of the first half Valor was up in goals. It was a nail-biting, back and forth game with each team goal for goal. Valor and Pueblo West went into overtime tied 10-10. After about five more minutes of back and forth competition, Valor took control of the ball and was able to put the ball in the back of Pueblo's net. The girls were able to keep possession of the ball to count down the last seconds of their last home game win at a final score of 11-10. As a young team, the girls have grown a lot as athletes and as young Christian women this season. This has definitely been a developmental season for the team and they will continue their growth in off season.
